Declaration submission and payment dates according to tax types have been determined in accordance with the Tax Procedure Law No. 213 and relevant general communiqués. Accordingly, the important payment dates for 2026 that need to be known are as follows:
Monthly Routine Declarations and Payments
The basic taxes you need to regularly monitor and pay each month are as follows:
Value Added Tax (VAT): Declared by the evening of the 28th day following the respective month and paid by the end of the same day.
Withholding and Premium Service Declaration (WPSD): Includes deductions such as employee tax and insurance premiums and rental withholding. Declared and paid by the evening of the 26th day following the respective month.
Stamp Tax: For those with continuous liability, declaration and payment are made by the evening of the 26th day following the respective month.
Dates to Know on an Annual and Periodic Basis
Critical dates that you should note in your agenda according to your business type are as follows:

In 2026, the last days that fall on weekends (e.g., Saturday, January 31) roll over to the next business day (Monday, February 2).
Temporary Tax Periods
The temporary tax schedule, which must be paid on a quarterly basis over business earnings, is as follows:
1st Period (January-March): Since May 17, 2026, is a Sunday, it will be May 18, 2026.
2nd Period (April-June): August 17, 2026
3rd Period (July-September): November 17, 2026
4th Period (October-December): February 17, 2027
Special Reminders for the Year 2026
Apart from the tax periods that need to be known above, other notes that tax payers must remember can be listed as follows:
e-Ledger Certificates: For those who prefer monthly uploads, certificate uploads must be made by the last day of the 4th month following the respective month.
Young Entrepreneur Exception: Entrepreneurs aged 18-29 should not forget to deduct the exception amount under Article 20 of the Recurring Income Tax Law No. 193 while declaring their 2025 earnings in March 2026.
